Ok it wasn't quite that simple, but truth be told, the details of exactly how we met are a little, shall we say....fuzzy. If you really want to get to the bottom of it we met in the Spring of 2006. We had many mutual friends, and on at least one occasion, one of those friends technically introduced the two of us. However, we didn't really get to know each other until later, in the Fall of 2007, when Tom came into a radio station looking for an internship.

In December of 2007 Tom graduated from MSU and had to move back to Canada. They kept in contact, as Annie was helping Tom look for radio jobs with her contacts all over. Then something interesting happened. Tom was in a car accident. Nothing horrible happened, but his neon was in pretty bad shape. Annie was there for him, even if it was just over the phone, and she helped him search for a new car online, too. It was around this time Tom decided he liked Annie 'more than a friend' and invited her to visit him in London, where he told her this. Annie came for a visit, met his friends and family, and fell in love with the city....and with Tom.

Everything else happened pretty quickly after that. Randomly, Annie had drinks one night with a friend, Dan Henry. Tom worked part time for Dan while he was in college. Annie explained to Dan that Tom was looking for a job and to come back to the United States. Since Tom was such a star employee when he worked for Dan, too, Dan said he would like to hire him back full time! Within a couple of weeks Tom had the necessary paperwork sorted out and was granted a work visa to come back to the U.S.
We have been together ever since, and we are pretty excited about the next grand adventures we can see coming up on the horizon. There are many things we would like to do and see together, and thought its already been a few years, we still feel like we are only just getting started! Look out, World.
